Cynthia was born with Charge Syndrome—a genetic disorder that can affect one’s eyes, ears, heart, and nose. For that reason, she is unable to talk and uses sign language to communicate. Cynthia’s mom admitted that it is quite difficult for her to do things on her own, such as place an order at a restaurant. But one afternoon, Cynthia and her mom were pleasantly surprise.

The pair visited their local Chic-fil-A restaurant to order some dinner when their cashier, a woman named Taylor, admitted that she knew how to sign and began talking with Cynthia. It was such a beautiful occasion that it simply had to be filmed and shared.

“Taylor did not miss a beat on greeting us with a warm smile, and asking my daughter first what she would like,” Cynthia’s mom commented. “My daughter was so surprised and happy.”
