For that reason, he went home and spoke with his mother. He explained to her what had happened and together, the pair brainstormed the best way to eradicate the problem. They decided to start a fundraiser in order to raise money for the students who could not afford to eat a hot lunch—either because they did not have money or they were in debt.

Luckily, his fundraiser surpassed their wildest expectations and, all thanks to Cayden, the amount raised was able to help a whopping 295 kids receive a great lunch at school. Additionally, these children remained anonymous to remove any possible stigma.

Cayden’s amazing act not only helped the children in his school, but also allowed him to the win the title of, “Person of the Week” on 7 ABC News. What an outstandingly wonderful achievement!
