What made this event that much more special, was the fact that Barry Gibb actually attended and was able to see a number of talented musicians pay tribute to him and his brothers. And one such band that did so absolutely beautifully, was the supergroup, Pentatonix.

This group has been favoured by many for their cappella harmonies, and when they opened their mouths to sing a cover of the popular song, “Too Much Heaven” by The Bee Gee’s, the entire crowd was left speechless, including Barry Gibb himself who was sitting directly opposite them. Their version managed to leave the entire crowd with chills up their spine.

After the performance, the group admitted to being completely nervous but that it was an opportunity of a lifetime to sing for the legend, Barry Gibb, and that they had a lot of fun performing at the show—which is essentially what the whole concert was all about!
