Our phones have replaced alarm clocks, snail mail, and in many cases paper newspapers and magazines. While some people argue that ubiquitous smartphones and tablets have lessened basic communication, I feel that it’s just the opposite. Nothing beats being able to speak with people like your parents via text! It can be so much fun.

The types of technology and communication that were once considered only appropriate for younger generations have spanned all age groups, and this includes parents and grandparents. How many of us here are guilty of sending wrong text messages to our parents? I don’t think that makes for a fun conversation, especially in the middle of the night. But nonetheless, it happens!

Sure, parents may need a bit of help setting up their email or social media accounts, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know what’s going on in their kids’ lives. So, when kids text their parents, on purpose or accidentally, sometimes the result is absolutely hilarious.
